The APONUO Solar Post Cap Lights are a set of four solar-powered lights that can be used to decorate and illuminate fence posts, deck posts, patio posts, or any other outdoor posts. They have a stylish design with a filament post light, emitting a warm white or cool white light depending on your preference. They also come with 2x different adapters, allowing you to mount them on 4×4 or 6×6 wooden or vinyl posts which is def a nice inclusion.**Pros**- The lights are crazy easy to install and operate. You just screw the base onto the post, twist to lock the LED light into the base, and turn on the switch to your desired color. You can also change the color mode and adjust the brightness level by turning on and off the switch. The lights have 10 led beads and can emit ~15 lumens light automatically after sunset.- The lights are fairly durable and weather-resistant. They are made of pretty much all plastic, but they are fully waterproof apparently. They also have a smart chip that prevents overcharging and over-discharging of the battery, which should help extend its lifespan.- The lights are energy-efficient and eco-friendly since they use nothing but solar power to charge the battery, and can last up to 20 hours on low brightness mode! They also have a warm white color temp of 3000K, or a cool white color temp of 6500K, both of which are easy on the eyes.**Cons**- The longevity def takes a hit cloudy or rainy days, as they need direct sunlight to charge the battery. By my observations on cloudy days these guys will only stay on thru about 3-4am, whereas on a full-sun day they’ll easily make it to sunrise.- The lights may not be bright enough for some users who need more illumination for their space. These guys are def best used as accent/auxiliary lights, if your expecting to get enough light to do like functional things, look elsewhere.- The lights may not fit some post sizes or shapes, as they are designed for standard 4×4 or 6×6 posts. Also I have noticed on a couple of occasions now that even with the base fully screwed in and secured to my posts very high winds can pop these guys off. So def keep an eye on them after storms and such.- Build quality def leaves something to be desired, wish they could have reinforced these guys with at least some metal in the bases or whatever…**Final Thoughts**The APONUO Solar Post Cap Lights are a great product for anyone who wants to add some charm and light to their outdoor space on a budget! While there are def higher build-quality options out there, for the cost and flexibility these guys provide I can’t help but recommend them to any homeowner looking to fit out a large fence without going broke. Plus they look quite stylish and not cheap up on your fence, so long as your looking form about 10-15’ away lol!

Not super bright, just enough to lit up stairway for me to see. Love the modern design. Installation was also very easy. You can easily turn on the switch under the cap. Stays on at least 6 hrs even on cloudy days

Nice lights
Initially purchased these about a year ago. Had an issue with the solar areas of the lights turning an ugly white color (see last photo) and a few stopped working.We contacted the seller and they sent replacements for the ones that no longer worked.Since we still had almost have of our lights with the ugly solar areas, we decided to give them another chance and replaced those as well.Put them all up today and hopefully will not have the same issue with the new ones.The seller was extremely considerate and helpful with this issue and that is why we gave their product another chance.Also because they are beautiful on our deck and give off just enough light on the cool white setting.I will be sure to come back to update my review, if there are any changes to how these lights hold up after a reasonable period of time being exposed to the elements

Overall good product but be prepared to do a bit of fixing.
Installed these on our deck vinyl fencing. We used the white setting which at a guess is ~5000K in color ( no yellow/orange tint). Didn’t try the warm color at all. All the units worked out of the box. Easy install on the fence posts as the vinyl is 4×4. Slip it over the post, 2 screws on the sides, and done. Lights stay lit all night except for the 1 that is shaded for a decent portion of the day. The only thing that keeps me from giving it 5 stars is the top where it latches into the reflector. It is very loose. it is keyed so that it can’t be pulled up but the keying doesn’t lock it in to prevent it from being turned. Several times I’ve brushed up against them and unlocked the top. Adding a simple notch and key would make it a 5 star product. A little foam tape to keep pressure on the top does wonders to hold it together. I will do my best to get some photos this evening and add it to the review if possible.Picture is after all night on. As you can see 5 of the lights aren’t lit. No fault of the light as these are in shade for more of the day.

These hold the charge well , Granted its Spring when I got them so they are getting a good 5 hours of sun . They last all night and have a good brightness to them. Nice ambient light.They are plastic and a little flimsy-ish compared to other products. but they do work well, I have had them for over about a month and they were good for the price.I like the yellow light. was nice 2 have the choice to have white or yellow light.UPDATE: 1 YEAR LATER. these lights have a switch the swaps color from white to yellow. this switch went bad on all but a few. maybe 4 of the 12 I got still work. The light ia good but I had to open it up and directly connect the power by bypassing the switch. I added pics to show where u would need to solder if u have the skills to do so. I did it and the lights turned back on bright. 3 stars becuz I had to work on it only after 1 year. many ppl would not know this and probably toss n buy again. Manufacturer should use a better switch or jst remove color change switch all together

These solar lights are awesome. They are such a great value for my money. They are super bright. They charge up really easy and quick. They stay charged for a long time they stay going for a long time super easy to install. Super easy to take apart and put back together. You can change them to a warm light or to a bright white light. I absolutely love them. I cannot believe I was able to find these. I might buy more. I used them inside my trailer to help me light up the place to stay off the grid and I just charge them through my windows That shine the sun through. They charge up so easy. They are awesome a definite need to buy.

I really like the choice of 2 different light options. The white is really bright and the yellow is a nice soft ambiance lighting. It’s very easy to switch back and forth and they stay lit until morning. Very pleased with them. I only gave a 4 star because they are plastic and I’m not sure how long they will last. Also, they come with 2 sets of plastic mounts, one set for 6 inch posts and one set for 4 inch posts, I think this is a bit wasteful and you should just be able to order one or the other. Overall, I would definitely recommend them.
