Don’t worry. it’s not 4 HP!
I almost did NOT buy this vacuum because in the spec’s it was rated at 4 HP. One HP is 746 Watts. So 4 HP is a tad shy of 3000 Watts. That would pull about 25 Amps of current from a household circuit. That was way more than I wanted to pull in my shop where I have other lights, machines and computers on the same circuit. I made an educated guess/bet that someone somewhere made a mistake in listing this as 4 HP. So I bought it anyway because everything else about it looked good.When it arrived, I set it up and put it on my Kill A Watt meter, and lo, much to my relief it pulls only 790 Watts (see photo). So I can use this in my shop when other things are on as well.Does it work? Oh yes. It is great. It has considerably more suction than the little plastic vac I bought at the big orange chain store (which I did kind of like for its small size and general utility, but which never seemed to last more than a year or two of moderate use before the bearings would wear out). The hose on this machine is larger diameter (which means less resistance to the airflow along the way) and nicely flexible and even rotates in the fitting on the vacuum body so that it is easy to change the orientation of the working end. It also blows air out the exhaust very well when you want to plug the hose into that end and use it as a leaf blower or car drier. I was skeptical about whether I would enjoy having casters on it, but they don’t take up a lot of extra room and it is kind of nice that this will follow you around easily as you vacuum a shop or you car. It comes with a useful assortment of tool end fittings. Overall: perfect moderate size (not too big or too small), economical price, excellent suction and blowing power, sturdy enough build, good hose and tool attachments, and luckily it doesn’t draw so much power that you’ll be blowing circuit breakers!

Great little vacuum!
This vacuum works so well. Lightweight and the suction is strong. Used for water clean up and dry vacuuming my hard floors. It gets more dust and sand up than other vacuums.

Amazon Basics model was a good choice. I dont use this much but works well when I do. I like the metal body rather than plastic of the other lower end ones.

Good little vac, but cheap plastic parts.
Would be 5 stars except that the plastic cord wrap that is supposed to be attached to the bottom of the canister was broken off on arrival. It was not worth the headache to return it for that, and I needed to use it asap. It does seem to work well, and the multiple attachments and angled hose is very convenient. It is on the small side, but that is exactly what I expecting & wanted. It’s light weight and easy to maneuver into small areas which is exactly why I ordered it.

Good power and quieter than my old 5gal
My old 5gal wet dry finally gave up the ghost. Saw this at a really good price, about half of a same replacement of my 5 gallon for a 6 gallon and used same bags. This unit is very quiet compared to my 15year old 5 gallon and much better suction. Has a longer hose and cord, stainless tank and decent attachments. Really surprised at what a good deal this was. Been using it for over a month on my down stairs remodel LOTS on junk picked up.

The ridiculously short short cord is a deal beaker
as far as suction it does that but that cord is ridiculously short You really have to be arms length from a plug or get an extension cord. Horrible.. Can even use it within a very small bathroom cause you have to have it so close to the plug so that wheel thing is useless.. It is compact, it has a different filter for dry n another for wet so make sure you change them.All attachment except the hose for some god forsaken reason, have a spot to attach them..the ridiculously short cord you have a velcro thing to get it out of the way n I tuck it under the handle. The wheels, easy to attach, but no point in having them since the vacuum has to be sooooo close to the plug or else it would pull out mid job n drag anything in it’s way..As far as suction? yes it does very well, I use it to suction the garage n the porch of of leaves n debris.. I use it where I can’t afford to ruin my cordless dyson .. I had bought similar wet n dry ones before that were similar performance but never paid attn to horsepower.. Got this one for the horse power thing n imo nothing different from the generics (less than $60) that I used to grab from home depot each time a flood happened in my home in NJ .. This one I have not tried it for water yet .. I tried it on sharp broken glass I just had n it did very well.. For that 1- annoying short cord 2- lack of convenience in storing the attachment 3- interchanging filters for wet n for dry? Like when that broken glass jar situation happened it would have been awesome if it was wet/dry to suction the whole mess up.. It just happened the other day so I had gotten a few cuts removing the liquid mixed w glass debris .. so that I can eventually remove the broken glass.. So yes, not a fan n will return

im going to sum this up… WOW !this is an incredible vacuum , the cord is kind of short but it does exacly what its suppose to do. we had to vacuum the toilet out and ZERO problems. and super affordable.

Fonctionne et aspire très bien. Légère à transporter. Seul point négatif, je trouve le manche un peu trop court, je dois me pencher vers l’avant, ce qui n’est pas l’idéal pour le dos. Je suis petite, 5pi 3, donc j’imagine que quelqu’un de plus grand trouverait le manche vraiment court. J’aurais préféré avoir 4 extensions du manche au lieu de trois.
