How to choose drawer slides length?
Normally,a 24inch base cabinet will use a 21inch slides,a 21inch vanity will use an 18inch drawer slides,and a drawer in miscellaneous furniture (bedroom dining room,etc.) will use a 15inch drawer slides.

Never Buying Euro-trash Slides Again
This was my first time using undermount slides. I have always use (cheap) sidemount slides in the past. I’ve had such bad experience with those things, at one point I vowed to never build a drawer again.On a cabinet build for the kitchen, and wanted something a little higher end. To be honest, I bought the undermount because they are hidden when the drawer is open… classy. However, I am blown away by the ease of install. I will never buy a sidemount again.Now, these are more expensive than Euro slides. This 6 pack of slides was perfect for me, and they were only 2x the cost of the cheapest sidemount slides you can get at big box store. 2x is a lot, but on the balance of the entire cost of the cabinet, it’s not that bad.The install is dead simple though. This product provides the rear support brace is you are building a face-frame cabinet. With sidemount slides, those cost extra. But, unlike sidemount sildes, there is really only one piece in the slide assembly. There is no cabinet and drawer member. The entire slide assembly is installed in one piece. So, as long as the two slides are parallel, you’re golden. The locking mechanism which is installed on the drawer box is 3-way adjustable, so if your drawer is a little off on width, you’re still good. Contrast that to sidemounts. If you’re off by 1/8″ in any direction, you’re screwed, and they won’t work.Listen, I suck at drawers. But, I just put in 6 without having to make a single adjustment. That should speak volumes. The soft close feature on this product is a nice touch too. I cannot compare these to the more expensive name-brand version, because I have not used them. However, these seem like exceptional value. Again, the locking mechanism is 3-way adjustable, just like the more expensive versions. Also, these things are SOLID. The 6-pack of these things might weight like 35-40 lbs.The instructions were ok. They tried to make a drawing to permit the drawer material to be various thickness. But… it’s super easy. Your drawer sides are as long as the slide length, e.g. 18″. Then, your drawer front is the edge-to-edge width of your installed slides. That easy.5* would… and likely will.. buy again.

First time installing Undermount Slides – these work well; could use some improvement…
This was the first time I installed undermount slides. Here are a couple of things I realized —1) The slide length should equal the drawer length. Meaning, for an 18″ slide, you should make the drawer bottom 18″ from front to back (where the slide’s front clip meets the back of the front face of the drawer). I made 19.5″ drawers for 18″ slides, and had to mount the clips about 1.5″ back from the front face of the drawer. Not a big deal, but I wasn’t aware of this small detail.2) On the top back of the slide, there is a little metal piece that seats into the back of the drawer. This effectively holds the slide to the back of the drawer The instructions call to drill a 1/4″ hole. However, if you make this hole, the front of the drawer can be prone to rocking forward/down a little bit if there isn’t enough weight in the drawer toward the back. This play can interfere with your reveals as well. I used a 1/16″ chisel instead to make the hole to ensure this rocking was minimized.3) The three way adjustments work ok. They do allow for some play in centering your drawer once installed. However, they do have a little bit of play in them. I’m not sure if other MFGs of slides A) have three way adjustments and/or if B) any play is minimized. Once I installed the slides, I didn’t have to make any adjustments.4) Overall width of drawers. I followed the instructions, but I also added 1/8″ to the overall width of drawers. You really don’t need much clearance (side-to-side) – the brackets come with screws that sit nearly flush with the rails, so the drawers don’t need that much extra clearance.5) Underside Clip Hardware – I made my drawers with 1/2″ plywood. The screw hardware that comes with these slides are slightly too long in my case; they are good for 5/8″ or 3/4″ wood. I used some #6 1/2″ screws for the clips – be prepared in advance.Overall, I’m happy with my purchase. Seem to be 1/3 the price of BLUM hardware, and after I learned a few things, they work well for me. The quiet close works great, and I’m happy that I have adjustments if ever needed.

While they may not be as silky smooth as Blum slides, these slides still perform very well, especially considering the price. The installation process was straightforward, and once installed, they feel sturdy and reliable. The only minor downside is that they require a bit of force to pull out at first, but this isn’t a dealbreaker.If you’re looking for a budget-friendly alternative to premium undermount slides, these are a great option. They deliver smooth operation, full-extension functionality, and a dependable soft-close mechanism—all at a fraction of the cost of higher-end brands. Highly recommend!

They don’t close like they are suppose to soon as you put the drawer on them they don’t slide you have to push them closed.
