Study and works well.
It’s hard to find a 4×6″ post base at Home Depot, Lowe’s, or local hardware store. I’m glad these were available. I needed this to install a retractable garden hose and didn’t want to drill into my house. This was my first time drilling into concrete or any post work. I had to learn how expansion anchors worked. When I first dug the pilot hole, the anchors slipped right in without any friction and that made me nervous. But that’s how they’re supposed to work and only when you tighten the nut above does the bottom expand and with 6 per post base, it’s extremely sturdy. Now I just have to wait to see if rust builds up anywhere on the post base or screws/nuts. I’d hate to see staining on my concrete, but so far this has been a great product. The only other part I needed to buy was a special bit for a my cordless drill. Lots of websites said I’d have to buy an impact driver for most of the concrete bits out there. I found a carbide bit and I just had to be patient and figure out the right amount of force to use without burning out my drill.

Excellent Product
Upgrade the screws that are included with these holders and you’ll have a outstanding product for the price. Finish’s great, has held up for months with no issues at all. Screws rusted in a couple weeks! Not an issue as they are easy to replace. Post holders are the very same thickness and quality that are found at hardware stores for more than double what I paid. Highly recommend them.

Little snug
Super nice fit and finish, really nice product. Be aware if your using pressure treated lumber it’s most likely gonna be wet! Which made these 4×6 bases @ an 1/8″ too small on the 4″ side. Not a huge issue for the experienced, but be aware of your skill level.

Good quality.
Used these to replace some cheap sheet metal bases that were installed by the “Professional” fence installers that failed with the first big wind.VERRY happy with the design though I bought some 3/8” red head cement screws for them rather than the 1/4” anchors they sent. Have held up to some pretty good storms in the past 9 months and worked so well I bought some more when the fence in the other side of the building fell down.

Brackets are superior build and value
Brackets were easy to put on and were a great fit. The quality was great and looks awesome. The hardware included worked with no issue and love the drainage holes on bottom of them so the wood can drain without touching ground.
