Work bench legs
I recently purchased the 4×4 porch base to create a bench table for my husband’s shop, and I am absolutely thrilled with the results! We added a cover for our pool bar, using 4×4 post (actual 3.5×3.5). They have good welds and finish. Bolts and screws for either concrete or wood mounting was a plus. It made the ease of attaching the post to the decking a breeze (after adding additional support under the deck boards). It’s a nice look over the galvanized ones. I actually expanded the project and ordered a 2nd set.The negative. The first set would not go on without significant sanding. Very tedious, sand, fit, repeat, beat with mallet. The second set required much less effort, but some sanding was neededAppears to be some quality control issue on size. I would still recommend, just be prepared for some extra work if they are too snug.

Look nice and heavy duty
These look good and are heavy duty. They fit a painted 4×4 post perfect (3.5×3.5). The metal at the bottom is folded to let water drain out.

quality, good paint, would buy again
Good quality, thick, well painted. Only problems is holes are NOT 1/2 inch, so do not expect to uyse 1/2 inch lag bolts. You will probably use 7/16th or 3/8th lag bolts to hold down. I siliconed where 4×4 meets base to prevent water from going in it and rotting out post. I would do this again.

Solid support brackets.
The braces are tall enough to give good support. They aren’t quite as heavy gauge material as the real expensive braces but I think they will do the job. Nice product for the price.

Great fitment on 4×4 wood for my pergola
Well made but make sure you apply another cover of paint before installing it! The thickness was good for the price! Comes with all you need to get it on ground cement or wood I wanted to make a pergola and works great my friend ask me every time he see it
