Only one drawback
Had a new walk in shower built and had this installed. I gave it three stars because there’s a small hole in one corner. I didn’t want to send it back, so making it work. Otherwise it’s a good, solid metal unit and not cheap like many others.

Heavy, high-end feel – looks great
Seriously thick and feels super high quality right out of the box. I got the black matte finish and it looks beautiful – clean, modern, and solid. I haven’t installed it yet, but just holding it, I can tell it’s built to last. I’m excited to get it into the bathroom. Definitely worth the price.

Good size and very functional
Quality feels great. I like the size and the fact that it can be used vertically or horizontally. We’re planning a bath renovation this summer and this size niche is great for our shower. It would have been great if the self was adjustable. Price looks competitive at $89.99.

I am so glad I went with this pre-finished niche instead of trying to tile a recessed shelf manually. Tiling inside those little corners is a nightmare, but this stainless steel insert just pops right into the wall cutout. The matte white finish is really clean and modern—it actually looks more expensive than it is.The design is really smart, too. I noticed it has a very slight slope on the shelves, so the water actually drains off instead of sitting there and getting slimy. It feels very heavy-duty and the welding is seamless, so I’m not worried about any water leaking behind the wall. It holds all my large shampoo bottles and still has plenty of room on the second shelf for soap and smaller items. Just a tip: make sure you have your silicone sealant ready for the edges during install to get that perfectly waterproof seal!

The fact that this niche is made from 304 stainless steel gives confidence right away that it will hold up long term in a shower environment. Rust is not a concern, and the unit itself feels sturdy once installed. Mine arrived without any major dents or corner damage, and functionally it does exactly what it is meant to do as a recessed storage space for shower items. The shelf spacing is practical, allowing taller shampoo and conditioner bottles to fit on the bottom while still leaving usable room above.Where this falls short is in the quality of the finish. The paint over the stainless steel looks rushed in several spots, with uneven coverage and small blotches that stand out on close inspection. Some of the cut edges and mounting holes are also not very clean, which makes it look less refined than it could have been. These issues do not affect how it works, but they are noticeable enough to matter if appearance is important to you. From a usability standpoint, the layout mostly makes sense. The middle shelf includes drainage, which is helpful, and that is where I would recommend placing items that get the wettest. The bottom shelf does not have any drainage, so water can pool there, which feels like a missed detail. Even a small drain or lip would have improved this significantly. Overall, this is a solid, functional shower niche that will last for years, but better attention to finish quality and drainage would have easily pushed it into five star territory instead of four.

The packaging wasn’t really protecting the product very well, so this niche cabinet arrived dented. It’s also already rusted before even installing it in the bathroom, so I’m not quite sure how useful or safe it would be in the shower. It also had some defects in that 3 of the corners of the back were either warped or filled instead of having sharp corners, so it doesn’t look great.Otherwise it’s fairly spacious and the shelf has holes so that water doesn’t just stay on top during shower. It has a lot of potential so I hope that the quality control and shipping protection improves.

This went into our basement washroom. It was fun learning DIY how to put this into the wall.Overall it went smooth.Got everything sealed properly and caulked,Once done, it looks great. Makes everything look more professional.Thinking about getting a bigger one, or a couple of these for the master bathroom remodel later.I recommend this.

Came with a massive bend / twist around one of the corners. Poor finish and damage seems to be a common issue based on other reviews as well. The frame is fairly sturdy, but feels industrial and ugly, like those vintage metal lockers from the 70s. Looks good from afar and in pictures though. The middle rack / shelf is a thin, flimsy piece of metal that bends towards the back. Maybe it helps to keep soap from slipping out, but it feels really cheap. The powder coating is not spotless, which means rust will eventually form and spread out from those spots. I would not risk installing this in a bathroom.Unimpressed with the quality overall. This unit will not be usable for me.
