Game Changer for DIY Insulation
This foam extender was awesome for flashing interior joists in the basement and attic for improved insulation. Cannot believe I waited so long to purchase. Easy to use and half the price of big box store options. Worked with both foam gun-sizes of Great Stuff and Loctite. Definitely buy a cleaner spray to maintain after use – I used Great Stuff brand. Thanks to the previous reviewers for their helpful feedback.

Works well for smaller gaps
Its 2 seperate pieces and opening is small so doesnt work as well for bigger gaps the cut off is epic!!

I think this is more for crack filling than wide format spray foam
I’m currently spraying foam into a springhouse turned into a sauna. I got this for the extension but I seem to be missing the connector that attaches them together. Also, non of my current tips fit this so this could only be used for crack filling instead of walls. It seems as well built as my other spray guns. The included extension cleaner rod is a nice bonus. Now, there may be tips that work on this, I just don’t have them. I’ll save this for when I need to fill joints.Overall: A solid built gun but standard wide spray tips don’t fit. The metal extension is much better than the plastic tubes.

Great alternative to more pricey brands.
I have been in the process of renovating a house for about a year now. A foam gun is actually something that I have had my eye on, originally for foaming adhesive when laying new subfloor, but instead I use the tried and true caulk gun instead. Now I’ve reached a point where I need to insulate cracks in various areas of a rebuilt wall that was originally built in 1950. This means considerable gaps, and a need to block the wind and elements from seeping into the inner wall. This was of course the primary driver in picking up this phone gun, and I utilized it for the first time over this past weekend. It worked amazingly well. And I already regret having not picked one up previously. However, I didn’t think it really warranted the 50-75 dollar price tag that I found on many of these guns. Even the mid $30 range didn’t always seem like they were very well made. This one however had additional features that other ones did not, specifically the additional 12-in reach that you wouldn’t get with a normal gun. Now that I’ve used it, I don’t think I could go back to the old one time use containers. first and foremost it allows you to use and reuse a canister versus needing to utilize an entire canister all at once, or buy up a ton of applicator nozzles. Something that’s not always readily available in big box hardware stores. Utilized properly this did an amazing job. It allowed me to get foam into some extremely small cracks and really block any kind of external elements from getting inside. Which of course is important, if not the most important step, before hanging sheetrock on the wall. The only thing that I would say is that if you do use the extension on this particular gun, make sure that you clean it out almost immediately. Like right after you’re done, otherwise the polyurethane foam could cure faster than you could clean it out. Otherwise it works similar to a caulking gun except you’re not having to pump it over and over and over with your hand. A great thing regardless of age, but handsparing when you’re older like myself. Definitely recommend this, especially if you have an older home and you tend to use foam to seal up old gaps.
