Perfection
If you want a straight-up PERFECT laser measuring tape that can handle and even excel at all the basic tasks, look no farther. This laser is accurate, easy to use, super convenient, stands up straight for at least 6ft (I’ve only tested it up to 6ft so far, so it might even stand-up past that, I just haven’t needed to test that yet), both the physical tape and the laser function of the tape work brilliantly, and the magnet on the tip of the physical tape is GREAT. It actually remains attached to metal objects instead of immediately separating the second you barely touch it, let alone tug on it. The green laser beam is BRIGHT and impossible to miss, and the weight of this tape measure is SO LIGHT – in the BEST way!!!! It doesn’t feel cheap, it’s just well-designed so you don’t strain your wrist when you’re holding it up for long periods of time or in uncomfortable positions. The instructions were very clear, too, so it’s basically idiot-proof. The only things I’d change are: 1. for it to be more obvious when the laser tape is done charging – it doesn’t turn a different color, it seems to just turns off once it’s fully charged (even while it’s still plugged into the charger), and 2. I’d love it if they made it so that the digital part of the tape measure also synced up with the physical tape, so that when you pulled out the physical tape, it showed the length on the LCD screen, too, IN REAL TIME. But those aren’t even gripes, just requests for what they can improve on for their next iteration (when they release a new, updated version) of this measuring tape. I still absolutely adore this little guy. I recommend this one over EVERY other laser measuring tape, it’s truly the best! And I’d know, as I’ve tried several others over the past few months, and this one beats them all, BY FAR, without even breaking a sweat.

Look for reference feature on the select measure mode if you think is not accurate
This tape is very accurate. At first, I was confused because it didn’t give me the same measurement with the tape as it did with the laser. I’ve seen reviews with the same situation. To understand this, you have to go to the references. There are two references. The button to select the measurement mode also has the option to change the reference. You can measure from the back of the tape or the front. In the top left of the screen, you can see where you’re taking the measurement: from the front of the tape or the back. Choose your best option. I just received it and am studying it, but it seems very easy. The only thing is that the manual could have been a little more graphic. But it’s a good product for a good price with solid construction. The manual says it’s shockproof and suitable for any outdoor environment, which means it’s waterproof. But I don’t think it will be resistant to sunlight for long. I definitely recommend it.

Nice tape measure for the price. Instructions are succinct but clear. Works as explained in manual, although turning on is not intuitive — instead of using the on/off (Power) button, you turn on with the measure button, then off withe power button. It is sturdy, but I wouldn’t consider it strong enough for commercial use, as the case is fully plastic.

NOT ACCURATE – NOT RELIABLE
NOT ACCURATE – NOT RELIABLE. LCD display is off by 2.3 inches and there is no way to reset it. Instruction manual leaves a lot to be desired. Standard retractable tape serves the same function. Laser is another inaccurate device. Perhaps I got one of the bad ones, but it did not function as advertised. Maybe it is just poor quality control. BTW: Return is delayed because this is not a Prime. Will have to look elsewhere for these functions. Perhaps you should do the same. Hope that helps.

Great gadget
Christmas present for hubby who has just about every tool imaginable. He was really happy with this item, says it will help a good deal in his woodworking. Hubby used this today while fixing some drywall. He said he loves this ruler. Works great.

Pretty good Laser Tape Measure for the price I paid, & it’s dead accurate at 40 meters (that’s as far as I tested it).Strong enough to use at work & it has belt clip, (unbelievably some of them don’t) I paid $83.00 for a “brand name” 3 in 1 version on a different site & it didn’t even have a belt clip & you couldn’t fit one to it. Also it was too flimsy & weak to use at work.This one is worth the money and is a real knock-about Tool.The actual tape measure blade stand out is 3.5 to 4.0 mt.Delivery was quick as well.Also, the instruction booklet is very informative, covers everything thoroughly & is written (not translated) in English.This Tape Measure hits well above its weight…
