I wanted a couple of niches for my new tile tub/shower installation that I was working on and didn’t want any of those plastic “tile-over” niches, so I started looking for something that would match the fixtures that I purchased. I found many similar to this niche, but this one had the best price and good reviews, so I took a chance and ordered two of them. Too bright shade of white for me
I like everything about this shower insert except the BRIGHT white color! It doesn’t match with my white subway tile or the other insert I bought. It is an extremely bright white shade so just beware of that.

Great shower accent piece
This wall niche is great; love it. Doesn’t need to be tiled as it is black stainless steel. We are using black accents in our bathroom remodel and this will work great in the shower and will use one over the sink to hold our tissue box to keep it off the vanity or toilet back. Such a great item.

The unit seems to be well made and of quality stainless, but the slots in the shelf look like a breeding ground for mould etc. there’s no way to clean inside the shelf. A solid shelf, like the black ones would be much better and look better too.I had to seal the holes where the shelf attached with silicone before installing.No installation instructions, but if you’re handy it’s a no brainer.
