Easy to install because size is smaller than other brands, works with other brands cover plates.
Easy to install because the size is smaller than other brands I was using, which is important in junction boxes with many wires. It uses buttons to dim the light intensity. It comes with a single cover plate, but it works fine with other brands’ cover plates, like double or triple cover plates.

Step-wise dimmer
these switches work well in my dining room and kitchen to control the level of light. I would only add that the dimmable controls are step-wise rather than smooth operating. I like that I can turn the kitchen lighting up bright during the day when I’m working in there and then lower them to be less glaring later in the evening. And I don’t use my dining room that often but I do appreciate being able to control the light level in there.

Worked for only 10 days
I purchased and installed this device with no issues. It worked as advertised powering a 5 foot long strip of LED lights. Probably 10W or less. That was the first 10 days. After that, it wouldn’t work at all. Stone dead. I pulled it out of the wall to check my wiring. All was intact. The unit showed no output on my multi tester. I was able to return the unit as defective. I’ll upgrade and purchase the switch I should have ordered in the first place. It will cost twice the money but likely will produce half the hassle.

What’s important to know about installing the dimmer
I’d like to open with a caution I feel was not clearly stated enough in other reviews. Do not attempt to remove the existing switch or dimmer and install this dimmer without turning the breaker supplying power to this location off. The existence of the ground wire and hot lead being open to touch each other or touch you is not something you should mess with. That said, proper installation requires you to know which set of wires is the main power and which set of wires feeds the light, and or other switches in a multiple pole switching circuit. The power has to be on to figure this out. In two of my installations, there are two switches. In the fourth circuit, there are three switches. I had to figure out which of the wall boxes had the source of power. That is where the dimmer had to be placed. In the multiple switch circuits, I had to switch all the switches on and off to determine which set of wires was always on, regardless of the position of any of the switches. Determining which one is always on requires you to measure between the black hot leads and the bare ground wire, as the neutral white wire is not easily accessed for measurement where it is not needed in this installation. (I used a voltmeter to find the always on wire.)The first two installations were the learning curve. Even at the single switch to the ceiling lights, which is where I started, I got the power source and light wiring reversed. The dimmer appeared to be wired upside down. It was easily fixed. The other three dimmers installed were on multiple switch circuits. In the first two switch circuit, I pulled both switches out to determine which one had the always on power. When it came to the last two of the four circuits, one with two switches and the other with three switches, I pulled one of the switches at a time to test for the always on circuit. I got lucky and found the location on the first try in each of the last two circuits.As for the comment about installing the ground wire to the KRYNYO dimmer, the units I received had to be turned upside down to allow the screw to come away from the unit far enough to get the ground wire under it. After learning this on the first install, the ground wire was the first to be added to the next three dimmers installed.As for the finished product, I would have liked to be able to choose the one of seven brightness levels that is used each time the dimmer is turned on. The factory choice is higher than I wanted in all four of the circuits. It’s a dimmer! We see logarithmically. The factory chosen point, which is at about half voltage, isn’t visually that far off from full brightness.
