I ordered this lamp set looking for some nice retro industrial studio lamps for my movie room. I saw several I liked but they were either heavy and nice but VERY expensive, or they were inexpensive but reviews were hit and miss for quality. I saw this set of two, and they looked perfect for my intended use. I was nervous about no reviews but I researched the lights online and found a few reviews elsewhere that were good. So I came back to Amazon, took a chance and ordered.Man, am I glad I took the chance! These arrived quickly and were well-packaged for shipping. No missing parts, no defects. Assembly was super easy – just pull the light fixture out of one box, then pull the stand out of the other box. Attach lamp to stand, extend stand to your desired height and that’s it.The adjustable height is infinitely adjustable between perhaps 3 feet and over 6 feet. I have mine set to about 6 feet and they could have gone several inches higher.The materials are metal (some light aluminum maybe?) for the poles and the lamp housings, metal hardware ad some of the fittings are plastic. Overall the construction is nice and the finish was a nice black. Note on fittings – when adjusting height and tightening down, remember there are some plastic parts so there is no need to tighten anything down to death. Just tighten snug and you should be good to go.Note on stability – nothing to freak out over but remember these are single column with a tripod way down at the base. For as tall as they can go, they could be a bit tipsy. So plan to set them out of traffic routes, in a corner, behind furniture, somewhere they won’t get bumped. That way you can set them and forget them. If you put them somewhere in a traffic area they could get bumped and tipped. It’s nothing to be scared of, just to be aware of…Note on Light Output – These will put out the degree of light you want them to, based on the bulb you use. I used Edison style bulbs because I wanted warm accent lighting. If you want primary lighting I’d recommend LED. These are E26 standard bulb base.The power cords are pretty long, you should be able to put these most anywhere in most any room. The plugs on mine are standard 2-prong plugs for U.S. wall outlet. The cords are attached to the light housing, not the poles. I used some simple black wire zip ties to keep the cords running down he back of the poles for a cleaner look. I left the zip ties loose enough for the cords to slide, to be able to adjust lamp height.For my setup in the photos I used a switched wall outlet. I plugged in a short flat extension cord so I could set the couch back to the wall. Into that I plugged a sliding dimmer switch so I could use dimmable Edison bulbs for different lighting feel. Into the dimmer I plugged a 1-to-2 plug adapter. I plugged the lamps both into that and swtiched the foot switches “On”. So now when you use the wall switch, both lamps switch on to the level of brightness set by the dimmer.I’m very happy with the decision to get these lamps. They look great and provide exactly the look, lighting and “feel” I wanted for my movie room. I do recommend them.

Great for the price
I’ve got 8 of these total. Quality is consistent. Yes the legs aren’t super sturdy (hence the price) but if they’re in corners with little traffic that will be fine. They’re in no danger of collapsing. Very easy to assemble. I have Phillips Hue bulbs in them and they work flawlessly. If you’re looking for cheap lamps I doubt you could do much better at $50 a piece. Because I needed so many, these were the perfect solution for me.

Great Looking Decorative Lighting
Received the items on time, they were packaged well, and were damage free. Assembly and set up was minimal and very simple. Finding the right bulb actually took more time. The grocery store doesn’t carry regular halogen bulbs, only spotlights, and they were too big to fit. Had to go to the local home improvement store to find what was needed. True to other posts, the stand isn’t extremely stable, so be careful of over extending the legs and mindful of placement in the room (non-traffic areas). Also, be aware that alone they will not light up a very large room with only a 60W bulb, so they’re definitely made more for style. A more sturdy stand and higher bulb wattage would have earned this item 5 stars, but these lamps look nice and do make a wonderful decorative impact in the room.

I like this – it has the look I was after at a very reasonable price. Do check the dimensions as this is primarily a table lamp and not the larger floor lamp variety. It should be evident from the product information, but sometimes scale can be difificult to judge. It proved to be of better quality than I expected – I thought it would be much flimsier but was actually very impressed given the price point. I went for the black because it was “on promotion” and whilst I preferred the copper finish in the pictures, the black is fine and works very well in-situ, having more of an authentic look to it.

The perfect unique spotlight to finish off any theater, pair them with an Edison bulb for that vintage spotlight effect and you won’t be disappointed! Generous amount of cord and an easy button you can activate with your foot. Great value compared to other spotlights which give you one big and one small light – these are identical size, both big!Slightly wobbly, a non issue if not bumped, plenty of kids playing in my theatre and no accidents yet.
