I love it. Great for water mitigation.
So far, so good.I had water mitigation company dry out the basement after a water leak. Unfortunately, they didnt get everything. I have waterproof backing on the carpet, plus thats laid on top of linoleum. Everything was dry on top of the carpet, but there was trapped water. I used a blower fan to blow under the carpet, and under the padding and used this dehumidifier to reduce the humidity. I was able to confirm that humidity dropped from ~38% to ~24% using a handheld hygrometer. The carpet was fixed, and shampooed, so that introduced more water. This thing kept the humidity down and was able to dry out the carpet quickly. When it fills up with water, it automatically pumps it out. I had it running to the sink elevated above the unit and it pumped it out without any issues. The wheels appear to be solid rubber. Nice and soft, so easy on the carpet, wood, steps, etc.

Good company and good customer service and support.
I’ve used it for a few months now so I’m going to write a review. It does a good job of removing moisture. It is a good quality dehumidifier. I had one problem, the inlet humidity sensor read about 15-20% higher than actual. Contacted Mounto through Amazon. They sent me a new sensor and a free floor fan.

Gets rid of wet air!!
We absolutely love this thing, we live in PA where it has been raining so much our basement has been almost flooded and we had to get our roof repaired because of leaks 😬. This thing has made the whole floor dry and it smells so much less like mold and wet air. It has a nice long cord for the water to empty outside and a button you can press to automatically pump it out. Previously we had to use 3 tiny ones that filled up every day and I mean who has time to carry 3 big jugs of water outside every day? So we have this in the middle of our basement floor and the smaller ones in the corners now and they barely fill every couple days, it has been so great working with this thing, our tools were starting to rust it had been so wet down there… Now we have COMPLETE dryness, we couldn’t be happier!!! If we ever need another one in the future we WILL be purchasing from you guys again.

Great value and quality!
I own a residential/commercial restoration company. Hands down this unit is the best bang for the buck! This unit of totally comparable to the top industry name brand products that generally cost over $2,000 per unit. It’s light weight and easy to tow. I am actually ordering 6 more units today. I highly recommend this Dehu to any restoration business who is looking to add equipment to their fleet at an affordable rate! You will not be disappointed!

Impressive Machine at First, But Now it Has Failed
I ordered this machine to dry out a flooded basement. The water had receded, but the floor was still wet and muddy and the house had a moldy smell from the dampness. Despite the machine’s weight (about 100 pounds), the wheels (and the help of a friend) made it easy to move up into the house and then down the cellar stairs to the basement.Set up was dead simple. We attached the drain house and led it out of the house, set the desired humidity level on the display screen, plugged it in and turned it on. The long power cord is a good quality, the drain hose has an easy to use attachment mechanism, and the control panel is very easy to figure out.I have had it running for half a day and it has already dried out much of the basement and brought the humidity level down substantially. The pump turns on when the reservoir fills and pushes the water outside and away from the house. While my experience is limited to one day, I am delighted with the machine so far.Update 6/11/24: While this machine worked well for its first summer in my seasonal residence, it has failed at the beginning of its second summer. The water pump which purges the condensate (see photos above) no longer works. I have serviced it to remove any clogs, dirt or obstructions in the check valve (there were none), but it will not run for more than a few seconds and displays a “Pump” error message. I have been unable to locate a phone number or other contact information for the manufacturer in the instruction manual. Until I am able to resolve this issue, I am reducing my rating from 5 stars to 2, since a commercial machine of this cost should last well more than 10 months.Update 7/1/24: After much searching, I finally got a number for Mounto customer service. Amazon customer support was very helpful in getting it for me.Once I contacted Mounto and answered a few questions, they quickly sent me a replacement pump, which I hope to install this week. I am upping my rating to 4 stars. It was inconvenient to have the breakdown, especially for a machine that was so new, and to have to hunt for a customer service number, but the company responded well once I finally reached them.Update 7/14/24: I installed the new pump and the Mounto is now running perfectly. My only difficulty was trying to figure out how to plug in the signal wire for the water level float switch. The switch has a long cord with a small plastic plug on the end. This plugs in somewhere deep in the guts of the machine. There is no obvious way to access this location. I settled for re-using the old float switch, which was already plugged in. This solved the immediate problem, as the old switch seems to work fine.I will try to contact the company and see if there is a way to plug in the signal wire without major upheaval. That aside, I am now back to being very happy with the excellent performance of the machine, which dries out my basement very quickly.
