Stylish, modern kitchen pendant light with frosted, scalloped globe. ! Min of 18″ for install !
This is a very elegant, modern pendant light with brushed nickel hardware. This globe is a bright optical white frosted glass that is scalloped, and diffuses light to perfection. I measured the thickness of this glass with digital calipers which reported this thickness as 4.3mm, which is over twice as thick as what is reported in the listing. The weight of this entire fixture, with all components included, comes out to just under 3lbs. This kit includes directions and basic installation hardware.This pendant light comes with 4 threaded brushed nickel downrods. Three of these downroads measure just shy of 12″ and have male/female connections. The fourth downrod is 6″, but threaded for a female/female connection.The “cord grip ceiling rose” and the “cord grip lamp holder” are both designed with male fittings. From what I can infer, the male threaded connections on both of these are not removable. What this means for installation is that you MUST use the 6″ downroad, and the 3 other downroads are optional. This changes the total MINIMUM for the length of this pendant light to ~18″, instead of the 11.7″ as advertised in this listing.This pendant light can still work on a sloped ceiling, even with the metal downstairs. The “cord grip ceiling rose” is fitted with a pivoting armature for this purpose.This modern look will fit in almost any kitchen. Maintaining the cleanliness of this light will not be a major issue, but may be something you might want to factor into your decision-making process. The frosted glass will offer a surface for grease and dust to adhere to. The scalloped recesses will also offer a perfect nook for grime to settle into as well. Installation is going to be easy for someone seasoned at replacing fixtures, but you may want to call in someone if this is a new light, requiring wiring, switches or panel work.

A nice addition to most breakfast bars and counters!
This is a very nice pendant lamp, typically meant to hang over a counter, breakfast area, dining room table, or other kitchen location.The globe is a bit on the small side for a single unit installation, but pair or triple them up, and the effect is great!Compared to amber or transparent glass, these milk-white globes are reminiscent of an earlier, slower-paced time. In a country-themed kitchen, they would be ideal.Light output is based on the wattage of bulb. If you need the light, use an LCD bulb, and you’ll get plenty of light with lower heat.The hardware looks and feels expensive. It’s well-made and mounts easily and flush against the ceiling.Now, about the price. Initially, it seemed a bit pricy to me, but home décor in general has been increasing in price over the last few months, so based on the quality, the price is probably competitive.Overall, it’s a very nice pendant light that will make most breakfast bars and counters much more inviting. Highly recommended.

High-Quality Pendant with Perfect Diffusion—Great Value and Versatility!
I chose to install this milk glass pendant light in my kitchen, and I was immediately impressed by the look and feel.Looks and Quality:This fixture looks like a truly high-quality, expensive item. The brushed nickel finish is beautiful and flawless, and the milk glass shade is strong and thick. It has a substantial, well-made feel that far exceeds its price point.Functionality and Size:This pendant is incredibly versatile. It comes with multiple rods and features a swivel mount at the ceiling canopy, which is excellent—it allows for adjustable heights and makes it compatible with inclined or vaulted ceilings.I used an E26 Smart Life bulb in the base, which allows for color-changing features. The milk glass diffuses the light very well, creating a lovely soft glow. It does reduce the light intensity (I estimate about 20% efficiency loss), but that makes the light less harsh and much easier on the eyes.Final Verdict:I would absolutely give this a five-star rating and highly recommend it. While I installed it in my kitchen, it has many more applications. It would be perfect for a child’s room, where you want a softer, diffused light to avoid that bright, harsh glare, or in any other space where you want the focused style of a pendant light without overpowering the room.
