I had a few unanswered questions when I bought these, so I figured I could help somebody out down the line.You do not have to use the touch sensor thing. It’s optional, and the lights work just fine without it.The default setting for these lights is on, so without the touch sensor, you can still use them on a dedicated lightswitch.The wires and the LED strips are long. Long enough to wire up a 6ft tall bookshelf from the center with slack.They do get warm, but they do not get hot. The box itself seems more than capable of handling 5/6 full length strips on full brightness for hours.Someone mentioned soldered joints. Some of the strips come as what looks like leftover sections soldered together by someone who just learned to solder. Huge globs of what I hope are coated solder joints.The adhesive tape is unfortunately difficult to start getting off, but easy enough once you get it. The tape starts beneath the wiring housing, so you kinda gotta rip it out.All in all, super easy to setup and totally worth it. No idea of the touch thingy works though.

No idea why this is frequently returned. Super bright, dimmable, easy to install and cut to length. This thing absolutely transformed my apartment kitchen. Pleasantly surprised as I was expecting it to be a dud. I am now looking for additional spots to put strips in!

Poor adhesive
The adhesive on the strip is so terrible. I cannot get them to stick inside my book case, even after I cleaned with rubbing alcohol and followed the instructions. I will need to supplement with additional sticky tape or a completely different set of lights.

Update, unit will not turn off and on anymore
Update, about a week later I noticed the lights were on, went to turn off, they will not turn off with the sensor switch anymore, worked fine first time, now the only way to turn them off is to unplug from the wall – very disappointed. No resolution with seller, would not recommend this product.

Vernünftige LED Kette das Licht geht aber eher in kalt Weiß….
Artikel ist genauso wie beschrieben, keine Mängel, super leicht für Kinder also ich gebe es nicht mehr her einfach schick –
Meine Tochter hat das Licht unter ihren Bett. Sie kann so sich verstecken und Bücher anschauen oder mit ihren Barbies spielen. Es ist sehr hell und man kann es in verschiedenen Stufen dimmen. Das Geld war es mir Wert .
