We were remodeling our kitchen and these lights really went well with our light maple cabinets my husband made. We love the lighting but recognize that it can’t be your only source of lighting. Also, if you are wanting them to hang lower, keep in mind that the wiring has a plastic coating on it that tends to make the lights not fall straight down. With us putting them up as short as we did, we did not have that problem, but you will if you are wanting them to hang down longer.

Looks nice but the design isn’t great for the installer.The grounding screw is a minus rather than a philips head.As other reviewers mentioned, they have three nearly identical wires under a sheath. Once you cut the cord to the correct length, it can be tricky to figure out which wire is hot vs neutral vs ground since the wires look the same and have these little tags on the end to differentiate them.Thankfully, they also have a subtle marking on two of the individual wires.There’s a solid white line on the Neutral / White wire, a greenish line on the ground wire, and no line on the Hot / Black wire. Hopefully this nugget of information will be helpful and save someone from a moment of panic after cutting the wire to length!
